Hi!
Has anyone tried to etch Ni 100nm using H3PO4:HNO3 and water? How long it will take ?more than 10 min?

Hello,

I did not check it for my own, but I found the following statement:

3 : 3 : 1 : 1 - H3PO4 : HNO3 : CH3COOH : H2O ~15min/micron @ RT with air exposure every 15 seconds

yup the composition you mentioned is Al etchant, so itīs almost the same with what I wanted to use. Iīve tried to etch for 20 min,looked good but next time Iīll reduce the time..I hope itīll work too!! Thanks lot!

Any issues with mouse bites? Does Al etch work well patterned wafer? I am having mouse bite issue. Any ideas?
